STRUCTALL BUILDING SYSTEMS Inc. is a leading manufacturer and distributor of Structural Insulated Panels (SIP’s) and related building products. Our corporate office is located in Oldsmar, Florida, with additional facilities in Lakeland, Florida, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, San Antonio, Texas and coming soon to Pensacola, Florida.

We are currently seeking an aggressive, proven sales professional to fill a National Sales Manager position with a primary responsibility for marketing our product line of SIP’s panels for use in housing and miscellaneous structures. The territory would be throughout the US as well as export markets.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

To increase Structall’s market share for SIPs Housing and Commercial (ResCom) related sales.
Assist the existing team of Territorial Sales Reps and our Branches to respond to ResCom related sales inquiries and opportunities they encounter.
Oversight as well as participation, in estimating and quoting ResCom related inquiries.
Oversight of our ongoing panel testing as well as current engineering.
Help develop long term relationships with existing and NEW customers with face to face customer contact, making independent sales calls as well as riding with the existing reps.
Analyze sales data and communicate with management/ownership regarding sales initiatives.
Maintain awareness of our competition and the SIPs market as a whole. Identifying potential new product offerings that we can leverage through our in-house distribution network.
Work closely with ALL departments within the organization to ensure maximum service to the customer.

REQUIREMENTS:

Must have outside Sales Management experience specifically in building products, wholesale or retail.
Experience with selling and installing Structural Insulated Panels.
Must reside within an existing sales territory or be willing to relocate. There is an opportunity to work out of any one of our four locations.
Ability to identify and properly communicate customer needs and competitors strengths/weakness.
PROVEN track record in meeting and exceeding sales objectives.
NO FEAR cold calling skills.
Exceptional dedication to customer service.
Top notch interpersonal and relationship development skills.
Self-motivated, goal and RESULTS achievement with ability to work both from a home office and the road.
Basic computer knowledge with strong organizational, time management, and communication skills. A company laptop will be provided.

  • This position requires some heavy lifting and loading.
  • Primary responsibility will be placing protective cardboard end caps on and strapping panels for shipments.
  • All loading is done by hand from dock to trailers.

  • Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation and available to work OT when necessary.

  • Must have Clean MVR.
  • Box Truck & Goose Neck vehicles.
  • Heavy lifting is required, this is very much a "hands-on" position. Must be in good physical condition. This position is a combination of both Dock Loading and/or Driving depending upon the amount of local runs for the day.
  • You will be loading/unloading Building Materials by hand with an average of 6 to 8 stops on a run.
  • DOT log reporting will be required as well.

  • Weekly runs delivering building materials to contractors.
  • This is, very much, a hands-on job.
  • Must be in good physical condition.

  • Must have a minimum of 3 years experience and a Clean MVR.

  • Full-Time + benefits and paid vacation time.   Possibility of OT.
  • General electrical (Low/High Voltage), mechanical, and carpentry (using saws and other power cutting tools) experience.
  • General facility maintenance like lighting install/maintenance, painting and upkeep of buildings and machinery.
  • Will be trained how to maintain production equipment, and to fix mechanical issues with machines, such as; roll formers, routers, and spiral ring wrappers.
  • Welding experience and forklift/Raymond lift experience is a plus.

$15-18 hourly + OT

Must have excellent interpersonal skills and a positive sales attitude. In this will-call sales environment, quotes and estimates have to be completed between phone calls and serving walk-in customers.

Experience with point of sale software is helpful. Must have excellent general computer skills, specifically with excel. Bilingual (Spanish / English) is a plus but not required.
